Sea Holly (eryngium) is a really fun perennial addition to the garden. It is not fussy to grow and will tolerate complete neglect and doesn’t mind hot, dry stretches. It spreads by seed each year so put it in a place with some space for it (or plan to pull out the volunteers). Plants produce flowers during the second year of growth and in subsequent years. The plants are always abuzz with bees and beneficial insects.

We love to use sea holly in our bouquets because it adds a fun, long-lasting and textural element. It is especially cute in a boutonniere.

All our seedlings can be picked up at the farm the first 2 weeks of May. Pick up details will be sent via email in April.
